Chantier Public interroge la place des artistes et des habitants et active le territoire habité à travers des démarches participatives, artistiques et culturelles. Il agit sur différents territoires et depuis un espace situé à Poitiers. Ce lieu propose des expositions, performances et résidences en invitant artistes, associations, collectifs et visiteurs à investir ses particularités. Les arts visuels y sont abordés de façon plurielle en prenant soin de valoriser le travail de jeunes artistes.

Chantier Public places art, people and territories at the heart of its work, exploring their existence and relationships, engaging with the city as well as with rural areas through participative projects bringing together artists and inhabitants. It occupies a space in Poitiers where artist residencies, exhibitions, performances, and also workshops take place. The visual arts are conceived and presented through a variety of approaches and hybrid uses.
