La Forêt d’Art Contemporain

La Forêt d’Art Contemporain a pour objectif depuis 2009 de créer en milieu rural un véritable outil de production et de diffusion d’art contemporain. Par l’accueil d’artistes en résidence, la présentation de leur travail, la production d’une collection d’œuvres en évolution, ce projet
participe pleinement à l’aménagement culturel du territoire du Parc naturel régional des Landes de Gascogne.
Avec vingt neuf œuvres ainsi qu’une dizaine de projets en cours ce chantier engagé par La Forêt d’Art Contemporain met en jeu, au-delà de la construction d’une destination de tourisme
de culture, un enrichissement progressif de l’espace de vie quotidien des habitants de la Haute Landes et du Sud Gironde.
Issue d’un parcours d’initiative collective, La Forêt d’Art Contemporain fonde son action sur une démarche professionnalisée et reste fidèle aux fondements initiés par les créateurs du projet autour d’une vision : La création artistique change un territoire.

Since 2009, La Forêt d’Art Contemporain, aims to create a project for the production and diffusion of contemporary art in rural areas. Through the presence of artists, the presentation of their work, the production of a collection, this project participates in the cultural planning of the territory of the Regional Natural Park of the Landes de Gascogne.
With twenty-nine works and a dozen projects, La Forêt d’Art Contemporain builds a cultural tourist destination, and an enrichment of the living space of the inhabitants of this territory Haute Landes and Sud Gironde. Vision: Artistic creation changes a territory.
